Western Red Cedar is the wood of
choice for our playhouses, both for durability and looks. Our
playhouses come to you as a kit, but not just any kit. Quality
and great workmanship is what we are made of.
Panelized kits, meaning that it is partially assembled, from
floor to roof, go together quickly, easily and with amazing
accuracy. All hardware and instruction manuals are included
with your kit. The floors are built of 2"x4", 16"
center, topped with 5/8" plywood. Walls are of 2"x3"
framing, lined with 1/8" hardwood plywood (added strength
to your structure and a more finished look inside), which is
then covered with 1"x6" t&g siding.
We also offer your playhouse pre-finished (2 coats of exterior
finish), at an extra cost listed among the many more options.
We chose Plexiglas for the windows, as a safety feature for
your children.
The great versatility of our kits makes them even the more fascinating.
By adding to the wall height, and/or a larger size door, by
adding more windows, or by simply changing their position and/or
the door, you can personalize your playhouse, according to your
needs and desires.
Since your playhouse is made to last you a long time, once you
child has outgrown the playhouse, these added features will
give you the opportunity t use it as a guest house, a studio,
a shed... |
